Case Study
The Meadows at Hugo

The Goal
Bring Cost-Effective Homes to the Market
Design a high-density community that meets the demands and needs of the area's homebuyers at price points buyers can afford.
The Challenge
Higher Building Costs = Higher Home Prices
Due to economic factors, area home prices had risen to a point that pushed homeownership out of reach for many buyers. Most of the properties in the area were large-lot single-family homes. This property allowed for more density and with that in mind, Centra developed a home design that was desirable, but less expensive than typical suburban homes.
The Solution
Small-Lot, Single-Family Homes
Centra worked directly with the land seller, Golden Valley Land, to design a community of small-lot, slab-on-grade, single-family homes. The floor plans featured single-level, multi-level and two-story home designs with the square footage ranging in size from 1,903 - 2,335 square feet.
The Achievement
+80% of Homes Sold Before Construction was Complete
Demand for detached single-family homes was high in the area and as we began to sell, 39 of the homes were sold before construction was complete.

Hugo residents value our open spaces as well as our rural character and strive to be good stewards of the natural resources.
